Jay Desai, M.D., Director

I am a Board Certified Internist who has been in private practice of Internal Medicine in Georgia for the past twenty five years. I graduated from B.J. Medial College at Gujarat University in India. I completed an Internal Medicine Residency in Queens, New York and a Cardiology fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am the Medical Director of Delmar Gardens, D. Scott Hudgens and Laurel Bay Nursing Facilities. I serve on the Board of Directors at Hi-Hope Center and Gwinnett Health System. I was recently voted one of Gwinnett County’s Best Primary Care Physicians in Internal Medicine.

As a physician, I have followed patients with developmental disabilities who deserve a loving, creative environment to improve the quality of care; a need fulfilled by Hi-Hope for the last fifty years.
