Patsy Rooks, Director Director

Having been born and raised in Gwinnett County, living in Lawrenceville until 2003, moving to Snellville in 2003 and also retired from the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce in 2007 after 27 years of service, I know a lot of folks in Gwinnett, and one was a special lady by the name of Ms. Vinnie Lowry, who organized and ran Hi-Hope for many years.

Hi-Hope was formed for special needs children, and now it is for special needs adults. After my retirement from the Chamber, I was asked to serve on the Board of Directors for Hi-Hope. I was honored to be asked and have been serving on their board since July 2007.

Married to Dennis Rooks, since 1959, we have two children. Jan Rooks Sosebee married to Daniel Ray Sosebee, Jr. and Dennis Todd Rooks, married to Allison Wilderson Rooks. Two grandsons, Daniel Ray Sosbee, III married to Nan Machen Sosbee, and Dustin Rooks Sosebee, a senior at UGA.
